The Daughter combines elements of psychological thrillers, pure thrillers and organised crime. This is a fast-paced book focusing on Lauren, whose university-aged daughter Evie has gone missing. The more Lauren and her young son Lucas try to discover the truth, the more secrets they uncover, and the greater peril they face. I really enjoyed the twists in this book – particularly the major one towards the end, and my heart was pounding as I raced through the pages. A great read.
