When did you start reading? I can’t remember a time when I didn’t read so I think I must have been very little. My favourite books were The Cat In The Hat, all of Roald Dahl’s books, The Water Babies and Anne of Green Gables. Unfortunately, some of these books are horribly racist, but when I read them as a kid, I just loved the naughty, goriness of Dahl’s stories and the escapism of The Water Babies. Which books got you into reading?

I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the fun things I have for you below! Make sure you don’t miss the eBook giveaway – scroll down!

I came across a word I hadn’t heard before: limerence. When I looked it up, I learned that it means having an extreme crush on someone, even if they don’t reciprocate it or even know that you’ve got a crush on them. It’s a complete obsession, so much so that it gets in the way of every aspect of your life because you can’t stop thinking about that person. Well, that sounded like a great topic for a psychological thriller! Enter one of my creepiest male characters: Rupert. I turned him into a very posh Brit who becomes completely obsessed with artist Charlotte Aldridge. Unfortunately for me, I had to live with Rupert in my head for the three months it took to write the book! Let me know what you think about him.
