When you have a heroine who does something bad, it can be difficult to warm to her. But not with Sloan. She’s a warm, at times hilarious protagonist, who has done one stupid, impulsive thing, resulting in huge, positive life changes. Until that is, everything goes wrong.
Nelle Lamarr has outdone herself with this book, which had me racing to turn the pages. With a hugely engaging writing style and multi-layered characters, this psychological thriller cleverly combines heart-racing twists with elements of humour. This is a super fast-paced story that will stay with me for a very long time.
